Recreational Classes
Top Flight offers a wide variety of classes to meet the needs of the beginning to the advanced level gymnast or tumbler of any age. Our Pre-School Program uses a wide variety of creative, colorful equipment designed to attract and stimulate young childrens minds and muscles and helps them become aware of the movements that their bodies are capable of. The rest of our classes follow a logical progression designed to develop a basic skill set from which to continue their gymnastics or tumbling career.
Mommy & Me- ages 2-3 years:
Young children who enjoy activities of all types will enjoy this class. It is designed to make them more aware of their bodies and its abilities as well as to help them in different types of motor activities. Parents and children attend and work together under expert supervision
Pee-Wees- ages 3-4
Young children who enjoy activities of all types will enjoy this class. It is designed to make them more aware of their bodies and its abilities as well as to help them in different types of motor activities. Children will participate on all apparatuses. Parent do not participate in this class.
Beginner Gymnastics:
Children ages 5+ who have no or little experience in gymnastics or tumbling. Uneaven bars, balance beam and vault with a special emphasis on tumbling are presented in this class. The basic gymnastics skills are presented early to help the child become accustomed to the positions, terms, and concepts of gymnastics and particularly tumbling while working with their own peer group for better socialization.
Intermediate Gymnastics:
This is for those for ages 9+ or those who have acquired the skills in the Beginner level. They will receive special instruction on the Vault, Bars, Beam & Floor with an emphasis on tumbling.
Advanced Gymnastics:
This for those of all ages who have acquired the skills in the Beginner & Intermediate Levels. Back handspring, front handspring on floor. Cartwheels, Back walkovers & back handsprings on Beam. Kips, front-hip cirlces, jumping to the high bar, and fly away dismounts on bars. Front handsprings over the Vaulting table.
Beginner Tumbling:
For tumblers of any ages. In this class tumblers will be working on front and back walkovers, front and back handsprings.
Intermediate Tumbling:
For tumblers of any ages who have excecuted the Beginner tumbling skills. In this class tumblers will be working on back handspring progressions as well as front and back somersaults. (must have a controled back hanspring to attend this class).
Advanced Tumbling:
For tumblers of any ages who have excecuted the Beginner & Intermediate tumbling skills. In this class tumblers will be working on Layout & Twisting Somersaults.

Submission must be stopped 3 days before the 1st of the month.
